Adam Keprta is a designer who is not afraid to experiment. His work is based on industrial design, which he studied at the Tomáš Bata University in Zlín, but with his scope it goes far beyond its limits. Its span ranges from the creation of fragile porcelain to automobiles and heavy machinery. Scoria luminaires are based on the morphology of functionalism and work with the contrast between visual lightness and material weight. The hanging of the luminaire itself refers to leather technologies and historical ways of attaching lighting fixtures. The main feature is a light-through imitation onyx plate, made from recycled plastic waste.
