Adam Vesely

Designer, modeler and carver, who is among the four winners of this year's Czech Design Award Ploom Edition. In Galerie Mánes he will present the implementation of his design HeadNest — a knitted protective helmet for a girl with a cochlear implant who cannot use a regular helmet. Inspired by basket weave and brain structure, the flexible TPU FLEX filament design replicates the shape of the head, ensures airflow and absorbs shock thanks to layering and tight fiber connections. The product is created by 3D printing to measure, without adhesives and with a minimum of waste. Email: vesely.design@gmail.com
