Kristýna Kovaříková studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology. Moving away from expressive oil painting, she began creating hand-made dense rugs using the tufting technique and 100% New Zealand wool. Her work draws on landscapes and everyday experience — from travels to exotic destinations to quiet moments by the Svratka River spent with her family, as well as themes of care and daily life. Through these influences, she explores the relationship between people and nature and creates distinctive interior artefacts that can function both as wall pieces and as soft objects for everyday use.
