Liza Robak, a recent graduate of the Furniture and Interior Design Studio at UMPRUM in Prague, presents SLID, a project that develops her diploma work Jewellery for the Interior into an independent design brand. Drawing on the Ukrainian tradition of wax divination, she translates its principle into the design of handles, pulls, hooks and other metal details. By shaping wax by hand and casting it in metal, she creates unique structures based on controlled chance and material traces. The installation incorporates these elements into restored furniture from the 1960s, showing how small details can transform both the atmosphere of a space and our relationship with objects.
