Mária Baumann Pobočková works at the Fashion Design Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where her practice explores the intersection of fashion, digital technologies and material experimentation. In the project Digital Layers, she presents 3D-printed footwear and wearable objects whose form, flexibility and function are shaped by the properties of the materials used and by digitally designed structures. The project investigates the possibilities of personalised production and operates at the intersection of fashion design, experimentation and wearable artefact.
