Zuzana a František Velenští Zuzana and František Velenští are the duo behind the studio The.... While one experiments with technologies and form, the other brings an artistic sensibility to the process. Their collaboration results in 3D-printed porcelain. This approach is embodied in a collection of cups that redefines the iconic Czech “duritka”, with geometry forming the very structure of each object. Using their own material mixture, they push porcelain to the physical limits of lightness and embrace the natural deviations of the printing process as unique traces of each piece’s creation. Their North Bohemian minimalism is, above all, meant to be playful.
