Zuzana Roškotová, a graduate of the Glass Studio at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, presents her bachelor’s project FOUBA — a borosilicate glass fermentation set designed for preparing and serving kombucha at home. The set consists of a vessel for primary fermentation, three bottles for secondary fermentation, a dish for storing the SCOBY, and six glasses. The entire concept places maximum emphasis on functional clarity. Its most distinctive feature is the hollow feet of the secondary fermentation bottles, designed to hold a blue rubber band which, together with the seal, creates an airtight closure essential to the second fermentation process. This formal motif is repeated on the drinking glasses and on the lid of the main vessel.
