Karolína Kučerová

Karolína Kučerová is a Czech-Slovak artist working primarily with ceramics and glass, currently based in Stockholm. She graduated from the Ceramics and Porcelain Studio at UMPRUM in Prague and is now continuing her studies in the CRAFT! Ceramics and Glass Master’s programme at Konstfack. She has received several awards, including the ELLE Decoration International Design Awards and the PULSE Award. At the New Generation exhibition, she presents the ENFOLD collection, which transforms the traditional vase form into a sculptural object through soft, textile-like folds and a contrast between the rigidity of the material and an impression of flexibility.
