Marek Kounovský

Marek Kounovský is a product designer and founder of the MKDESIGNERS studio, whose work moves between product design and architecture. His practice combines technical precision, a sensitive approach to materials and clarity of form with a search for new functional solutions. At the New Generation exhibition, he presents ESKI.SUB — a glass speaker that experiments with glass as both a structural and acoustic material. The project brings together contemporary audio technology and glassmaking craftsmanship, showing how a material traditionally associated with decorative objects can enter the field of functional product design.
