Sebastian Kitzberger

Glass artist and designer Sebastian Kitzberger, based in Rožnov, is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. His glass works are playful and explore new perspectives and approaches to the material, often taking on a distinctly sculptural character. His practice pushes the possibilities of glassmaking while maintaining a strong respect for the material and a high level of craftsmanship. The Wooden Vase collection has become a signature part of his work. Also on display are vase-objects produced by blowing glass into complex plaster and wooden moulds, using the technique of blowing into a rigid form.
