Vlastimil Šenkýř

Vlastimil Šenkýř is a glass artist whose work moves between fine and applied art. He combines traditional glassmaking techniques with material experimentation and has long explored visual illusion, structure and the relationship between natural and synthetic materials. At the New Generation exhibition, he presents the new collection (CON)FUSING III, which continues his signature series of objects inspired by geological structures. Here, hand-blown glass is combined with innovative materials and organic forms that deliberately challenge perceptions of weight, structure and the very nature of the object.
